Financial Aid

Students enrolled in our ESL or GED courses are not eligible for federal financial aid because these are not degree granting programs. Some students may opt for a private loan to help pay for classes or pursue one of our scholarships or external scholarships. For a comprehensive list of scholarships available through Bergen Community College, visit the Foundation website at http://www.bergen.edu/pages/1817.asp

Students who are enrolled in a BCC certificate or degree program may be eligible for financial aid. To find out if you qualify, you must:

  • Complete and submit your application for admission to a degree or certificate program (Apply Here);
  • Submit a copy of your high school or GED diploma along with other required application materials to the admission office once you have completed your application;
  • Complete and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). (Apply Here)
  • Complete and submit the BCC Financial Aid Certification form (Complete Here on-line select Forms/BCC Certification.)
