B.A., Earlham College; MLS Indiana University; M.A. Graduate Center (City University of New York); ABD/Ph.D. Graduate Center (City University of New York)

Dean Beth joined Bergen Community College in 2012. Previously a library dean for Springfield Community College (MA) and earlier at SIT/World Learning (VT), she has held oversight for academic resources, student computing and information literacy in the context of partnership with libraries. Her career includes other public higher education positions (CUNY- Queens College, Graduate Center, Borough of Manhattan CC, Baruch College, and The University of Vermont) as well as at private institutions (Columbia University, Earlham College). She has published on a variety of library challenges and on topics pertaining to women's midlife development. Dean Beth has worked on many projects and Boards and is an active member of several professional associations.
