Victoria Tahhan

Victoria Tahhan, a May 2014 Bergen graduate, represents the board as the alumni trustee.

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Victoria emigrated to the U.S. as a child. Since then, she has embarked on numerous endeavors, including careers in acting and public service. Past positions include serving as a tenant services coordinator for the Bergen County Housing Authority. Currently, she works as an intern for Sen. Robert Menendez.

Originally enrolling as a part-time, evening student at Bergen, Ms. Tahhan eventually decided to pursue her education on a full-time basis. This dedication led to her election as the vice president of the Student Government Association and becoming a graduate of Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society of two-year schools, and the Dr. Judith K. Winn School of Honors.

Ms. Tahhan now attends Columbia University and plans a career in law.

Elected by students, the alumni trustee serves on the board with full voting rights during a one-year term.
