Mr. Miller, a Mahwah resident, joined the College’s board in 2012. A career educator, Mr. Miller began his career as a business education teacher in the Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Bergen County Vocational-Technical School District as a high school guidance counselor. He was appointed to several administrative positions including Bergen County Apprentice Coordinator, Director of Adult Education and Assistant Superintendent of Schools.  He remained with the district for more than 30 years before his 2002 retirement as Deputy Superintendent of Schools for the Bergen County Technical Schools and the Bergen County Special Services School District.

In addition to his work as an educator, Mr. Miller served as a member of the Park Ridge Zoning Board of Adjustment and as an adjunct professor at New Jersey City University for nearly 20 years. After his retirement, Mr. Miller served as board secretary for the Waldwick Board of Education.

Mr. Miller earned a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University, an M.S. from Monmouth University and completed post-M.S. work at Montclair State University.
