IST-101 Introduction to
Technological and Information Literacy
Learn basic
computer and information survival skills that can help you achieve high levels
of success in your college courses. This
course introduces students to basic computer applications, e-mail, Microsoft
Word and PowerPoint, with a strong emphasis on developing effective research
skills utilizing the Library’s electronic and traditional resources.
Introduction to Technological and
Information Literacy ("TIL") is a 1-credit elective. This course will meet once a week for 55 minutes
in
a computer lab. This class is a hybrid.
