Follow these steps to access your Bergen e-mail account:

1. Visit www.outlook.com
2. Type your Bergen WebAdvisor ID (example: jsmith12345) followed by "@me.bergen.edu" into the “Windows Live ID” field. The Windows Live ID should read: jsmith12345@me.bergen.edu (your Web Advisor ID plus @me.bergen.edu)
3. Type your student ID number (example: 012345) and your eight-digit birthday (example: 08311983) into the “Password” field. Leave no spaces. The password should read: 01234508311983 (your student ID number plus your birthday)

Your account is your home for all things Bergen, including:

• Payment notifications, campus alerts and other important information
• An interactive calendar
• Web-based storage for files

You can even merge your Bergen account with your other e-mail accounts (Yahoo®, Gmail™, Hotmail®, etc.).

Your Bergen account will give you an “official” address that can be used to apply for internships or to communicate with professors.
